Start this 8 day tour in Amman, from here you will visit the ancient ruins of the provincial town of Jerash and explore one of the best preserved Greco-Roman towns outside of Europe. Feel the history come alive in the original Roman Hippodrome.After lunch head back to Amman, the capital and largest city of Jordan, for a panoramic tour of the city. After overnight in Amman, the next morning takes you on a trip into the desert to see the famous Desert castles. Visit three of the best including Qasr Amra, Khaeana, an interesting example of early Islamic Architecture. Drive back to Amman for overnight. Up next drive to Madaba, the city of mosaics and see the amazing 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem found in the local church. Continue to My Nebo, mentioned in the Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. Short stop at Keral Castle, a dark maze of stone vaulted halls and endless passageways. Then continue to Petra for overnight. After breakfast depart for a fascinating tour of the ancient and magical city of Petra, and Arabian historical and archaeological city that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Experience the awe as you turn the corner to see the Treasury, one of the mot recognisable façades and structures of the Temple of the Winged Lions. The next day you will have the morning free in Petra, with your rive to the Wadi Rum commencing in the afternoon. The second last day will have you stay overnight in the Dead Sea, before continuing back to Amman.
