Jordan & Israel Discovery – Bronze

Discover Jordan and Israel on our 9 day Discovery tour. Stating in Amman part to Jerash and stand in awe of Hadrian's triumphal Arch, admire the temples dedicated to Zeus and Artemis and walk down the colonnaded streets. After lunch enjoy a city tour taking in both the old and the new that this interesting city has to offer. The next day, depart on the journey to Petra. On the way, stop at the beautiful city of Madaba, known as the city of mosaics, then continue your trek up to Mt Nebo, rumoured to be the final resting place of Moses in both Christian and Jewish traditions. Appreciate the view of north Jordan Valley and the Holy Land. Next day enjoy a guided tour of the historical Petra, now named one of the 7 new wonders of the world. Celebrate the city carved into solid rock as it unfolds over 2km. Follow the narrow gorge with the colossal façades walking past the Treasury and the Temple of Winged Lions. After this depart for Israel. Enjoy the view as you head towards the Allenby Bridge. Begin the next day with a scenic drive of Jerusalem before departing on a walking tour of the 'Old City'. Walk along the Cardo towards the Western Wall and Jewish Quarter. Walk the Stations of the Cross, along the Via Delorosa before finishing at the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Afternoon continue to Bethlehem to view Manger Square and the Church of Nativity. Next day tour Masada, sit of the last stand against the Romans. Continue on to Qumran Caves, the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, before arriving at the Dead Sea to discover your floating ability and relax before being transferred back to Jerusalem for overnight. Tour Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Church of Annunciations, the location where Mary was notified by the Archangel Gabriel of her Immaculate Conception. Pass by Kfar Kana, the location where Jesus turned water to wine before reachibng the town of Tiberias, named after the Great Emperor. Visit Tabgha, the location of the miracle of the loaves and fishes, and then drive to Capernaum to visit the ancient synagogue where Jesus preached. Overnight back in Jerusalem before transport to airport.
