Starting in Jerusalem you will see some of the most revered holy sites in the world. See the Mount of Olives, descend to explore the old Jewish Quarter, with its famed Cardo, once a busting Roman Marketplace. Stop to contemplate at the Western (Wailing) Wall before walking along Via Dolorosa, follow the Stations of the Cross towards the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, drive to Ein Karem, southwest of Jerusalem, traditionally known as the birthplace of John the Baptist; stroll in the narrow lanes of the picturesque neighbourhood, stopping by Mary's spring and continue to visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist. Day two sees you travelling to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Drive to Shepherds Field before visiting the Church of the Nativity and Manger's Square. Next up depart towards the Dead Sea Region, wisiting the Ancient Jewish stronghold of Masada. this imposing rock fortress was once home to a luxurious palace built bu Herod the Great and was the location of the last stand against the Roman's. Afterwards, take the opportunity to swim in the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. This nutrient rich body of water has provided the basis for many skin treatments for years. The high mineral content in both the water and mud is known for its curative effects. The final full day takes you through the lush Galilee landscape towards the ancient city of Nazareth. See the city where Jesus spent hid childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue the day via Cana to the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Stop at Capernaim and admire the ancient Synagogue where Jesus preached and stop at Tabgha, where he performed the miracle of the loaves and fishes.
