Starting in Amman, your tour begins as you proceed to Um Qais, a ruined Decapolis city with magnificent views of the Sea of Galile, Jordan Valley and Golan Heights. continue to the Greco-Roman city of Jerash, founded in 300 BC.Take a tour that visits Hadrian's Triumphal Arch, the Hippodrome and the Forum. Stroll the impressive colonnaded streets and see the churches, plazas ans amphitheatres. After returning to Amman for overnight, take a morning city tour of the modern capital of Amman, which boasts a number of important ruins including the citadel and amphitheatre. Also see the Mosque of King Abdullah the first and the Souls of Amman. Proceed to Madaba where some of the finest art of the early Christian centuries can still be seen, then move on the Mount Nebo, the final station in Moses' historic flight from Egypt to the Holy Land. Stop at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, for a swim where you cannot sink! Drive to Kerak for a tour of the famous Crusader Castle of Reginald of Chatillon, then continue to Petra for dinner and overnight. Enjoy a full day tour of Petra, an ancient city of tombs, temples and other monumental buildings carved into solid sandstone cliffs in arid gorges. See the Treasury, Petra's most famous monument as well as a 3000 seat theatre and a modest shrine built high atop Mount Aaron to commemorate the death of Aaron, brother of Moses. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Lave Petra and head for the magnificent Wadi Rum, a unique valley of coloured sand dunes surrounded by beautiful rugged mountains. Taka a 4x4 tour of the valley. Enjoy lunch in a Bedouin tent then proceed to Amman for overnight. After breakfast transfer to Allenby Bridge for border crossing to Israel, then overnight in Jerusalem. Drive to Mount of Olives for a spectacular view of Jerusalem. Then see the Garden of Gethsemane, the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion, the famous Dead Sea scrolls at the Shrine of the Bood, Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, Hadassah medical centre with Marc Chagall's stain-glass window, Ein Karem where John the Baptist was born. The next day visit Western Wall and Temple Mount. Explore the bazaars, and the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Bethlehem to visit Manger Square, Fields and the Church of Nativity. After spending the night in Jerusalem, explore the excavations of the beautiful Roman City of Beit Shean. Proceed to Nazareth to see Mary's Well and the Church of Annunciation before continuing onto Safed, the city of Mystical Judaism. Walk through the Artists colony and feel the mysticism. Overnight in Galilee Kibbutz hotel. Travel to Golan Heights and gaze upon the lands below including Syria. Explore Caesari of Phili[[i at the Banias Springs, continue onto the shores of the Sea of Galilee to visit the town of Capernaum. See the ancient ruins of the Synagogue before touring the beautiful church at Tabgha, believed to be where the miracle of the loaves and fishes took place. Enjoy a short tour of Tiberias before returning to the Galilee Kibbutz Hotel for overnight. Depart for Akko (Acre) to explore the Knights' Halls and the secret Crusader tunnels, then proceed to Haifa to view the magnificent Bahai gardens from atop Mount Carmel. Stop at Caesarea, to visit the Roman Theatre and the Crusader Fortress. Overnight in Tel Aviv. Enjoy a day at leisure in Tel Aviv, then be transferred to the airport the following day.
