Footsteps of Saint Paul
Discover the locations where the apostle Paul lived and preached on this 11-day tour. Take excursions from Thessaloniki, where Paul brought the message of Christianity in around 50 AD, to nearby towns that allow a rare insight into Greek history including Vergina, with the Royal Tomb of King Phillip II and Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. Visit Filippi, where Paul established the first Christian community and explore some of the most important sites of Greece including Meteora with its Byzantine monasteries atop massive rock pillars, Mycenae and Delphi. In Athens, view the Acropolis and the ancient Agora, where St Paul preached and exchanged ideas. Travel to the ancient town of Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. and see the Agora and the Bema, where he was brought before the tribunal.
