Departing from Amman you will visit the ruins of Amma's Roman theatre, the citadel, the Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. Drive east from Amman and see the Desert Castles that for the wide desert. Next day visit Jerash and Aijoun, a hilly town in the north of Jordan. it is noted for its impressive ruins of the 12th century castle, which is known as Aijoun Castle. After overnight back in Amman, travel to Madaba, the mosaic-filled city, and visit the Greek Church of St. George. Proceed to visit Mt Nebo, the site where Moses overlooked the Dead Sea. Then proceed to to Kerak to visit the castle, one of the two major Crusader castles in Jordan, Transfer to hotel in Petra for sinner and overnight. Next day you will have a full day visit at Petra, the most exciting and adventurous travel experience. This trip to the 'lost city', one of the seven wonders of the world, hidden away in encircling craggy rock mountains! Day six takes you to the Wadi Rum, where black and wind scraped hills stand like foreboding sentinels upon the pale sands, often described as the 'Valley of the Moon". Next up is Aqaba , which is best known today as a diving and beach resort. Day 7 visit the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, at 1306 feet below sea level! Then drive to visit Bethany where Jesus Christ was baptised by John the Baptist. Overnight in Amman before transfer to the airport.
