Mykonos Walking Tour
This special exclusive walking tour starts at Manto Statue on the main Square of
Mykonos town at 5pm. It is a great tour for first time visitors to the island as our local representative will help participants unravel the secrets of Mykonos, normally known to the locals only. Explore the labyrinth of Mykonos port town and this time you will not get lost amongst the narrow streets. Admire the famous Windmills, stop for photos at Little Venice where tourist and locals come usually at sunset to enjoy cocktails. Stop at Paraportiani church and continue through the small fishermen port with the church of Saint Nikolas, and “Yialos” area where many cafés and restaurants are. As Mykonos is a picture of Greece’s aesthetic idiosyncrasies, a small introduction to its art scene will also be included. Pass by various Mykonos Art Galleries displaying works of Greek, emerging contemporary artists, and those offering a mix of emerging and established Greek and international artists. Our local representatives will inform you about the buses, taxis, beaches you may wish to explore during your stay and can recommend great places to eat and drink. After completion of the walk which will last two to three hours we recommend that you remain in town and try one of the traditional restaurants for dinner. Transfers from hotel to the main square is not included but can be added at a nominal fee. Duration: 2-3 hrs.
