Intinerary

Day 1 Sun: Dubrovnik

Upon arrival at Dubrovnik Airport transfer to Ivka Hotel for an overnight stay. Meet the tour guide and enjoy your first dinner in Croatia. (D)

Day 2 Mon: Dubrovnik-Split

After breakfast discover the jewel that is Dubrovnik with a sightseeing tour of this spectacular, UNESCO-protected city. Dubrovnik was known as the Republic of Ragusa in the middle Ages and became the only Adriatic city-state to rival Venice. Visit the Franciscan Monastery (with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy), Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. In the afternoon the tour departs for Split, driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. Dinner and overnight in Split at the President Hotel or similar. (B, D)

Day 3 Tue: Split-Trogir-Zadar

Wake up in Split, 'the most beautiful city in the world', as its citizens proudly proclaim. On the city tour we explore the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace with its Peristyle, the Temple of Jupiter and the Cathedral. The journey continues north to Trogir, a picturesque medieval town. Visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, a Roman Catholic triple-naved basilica constructed in the Romanesque-Gothic style. Dinner and overnight stay in Zadar at Pinija Hotel or similar. (B, D)

Day 4 Wed: Zadar-Zagreb

This morning tour the sights of Zadar, including the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church, a magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture. Depart in the afternoon for Zagreb, Croatia’s capital. Dinner and overnight at the Panorama Hotel or similar. (B, D) 

Day 5 Thu: Zagreb

Zagreb is a city rich with gorgeous greenery – a city famous for its parks and preserved natural environment. The city tour of Zagreb includes the historic fortified Upper Town where we find St. Mark’s Church, with its famous multi-coloured mosaic tiled roof, on the square where both the Croatian Parliament and the seat of Government are located. Visit the Gothic Cathedral, with its two spires that are visible from locations across the city. View the Croatian National Theatre, housed in the present-day Old City Hall and the University. Afterwards, transfer to Zagreb Airport. (B)
